Excited to host ISPNO 2028

in Utrecht, the Netherlands

The 23-rd. International Symposium on Pediatric Neuro-Oncology is cordially invited to be organized by the Princess Máxima Center in Utrecht, our national center for pediatric oncology in the Netherlands.

The Neuro-Oncology team at the Máxima is excited and confident to take the honorable responsibility to organize this most important international scientific meeting on pediatric central nervous system tumors in June 2028. This date coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Máxima.

The Máxima has established an excellent multidisciplinary neuro-oncology team of physicians, supportive health workers, and researchers. We are partnering with international study consortia like PNOC, CONNECT and ITCC. More than sixteen research groups active in neuro-oncology have been established offering a wide spectrum of basic-, translational- and clinical research.

Utrecht is a lively and inspiring medieval university city harboring a diverse academic community with great city conference facilities and hotel accommodations ideally suited to host ISPNO-2028. The city of Utrecht is situated in the middle of the country, only thirty minutes away from the international airport Schiphol by train, and widely connected to other countries all over the world by both plane and train. Not only does Utrecht provide excellent opportunities for an international conference it also harbors extensive possibilities for social gatherings, with many restaurants, bars, and museums.

In 2028 we will be able to offer a very attractive scientific program with the highlights of current knowledge and groundbreaking scientific developments in combination with fora for discussions, poster sessions, educational meetings, and excellent opportunities for networking events. Our comprehensive childhood neuro-oncology team at the Máxima would consider it a great honor to organize this largest multidisciplinary International Symposium in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology.

In conclusion Utrecht provides the perfect environment to host the international pediatric neuro-oncology community for ISPNO-2028 and we are ready to make this dream come true and to become part of the legacy of ISPNO.
