The Utrecht Convention Bureau looks forward to working with the event team of EuroVelo & Cycling Tourism Conference 2026. We will be happy to provide support in any possible way.

General support

• Assistance in finding suitable venues and accommodations
• Help with the social program and activities
• Organization and guiding site-inspections
• Support in promoting the congress and establishing contacts with partners in the region (if required)
• Providing an information booth during conference (upon request)
• Free use of promotional material and discount voucher for Dom Tower visit
• Incentive fund of the province of Utrecht (conditions apply)

Incentive fund

In 2022 the Province Utrecht established an Incentive Fund for knowledge events initiated by scientific institutions and associations to further invest in the acquisition of multi-day national and international scientific conferences that reflect the priority topics Health & Life Sciences, Sustainability & IT. You can apply for € 10 p.p. per day with a maximum of € 15.000 per congress. The current fund is in place until 2025, and we expect that the province will make a new, similar fund available for the years 2026 and beyond.

Social event

We have asked the city of Utrecht for a financial contribution towards the welcome reception. No specific amount can be promised at this stage, but if a commitment is made, it is expected to be between €5,000 and €10,000.

VGF

The Pre-financing & Guarantee Fund offers financial security to organisers of international conferences of at least two days. This incentive fund combines two schemes that make it easier to actually realise conferences.

> Pre-financing scheme

The pre-financing scheme allows conference organisers to apply for an interest-free loan, at no charge; it is by way of a grant for conferences.

> Guarantee scheme

The guarantee scheme provides conference or event insurance that offers great financial security.
